In Japan it is a popular to gather to watch the koyo (colored leaves) as they fall. I found the experience to be a most peaceful and enjoyable outing.

you ever think about photographing for national geographic? i would highly recommend it.
and if you have not, i would seriously consider it.
they need more photographers like you.
im not some regular old joe schmoe either. ive been reading national geographic for years, and i think it would be a good idea for you to seriously submit some of these to them.
not in their little "tee hee hee" photography submission contests, but, like to actually be used in the magazine and on their website.
if you are interested in travel and you are interested in showing people the beauty, how surreal and solid these places are like this then i really think it would be a good idea for you to show them some of your work ..
